6. My wife is a conservative evangelical, and she hates that song because of that line.
It offends her that the songwriter suggests that a Christian is something one can be on occasion, instead of all the time.

I've tried to tell her "Honey, it's just a SONG! And a pretty good one, at that!"

No luck yet...

10. It's not always easy, but it helps that I adore her.
She's a sincere Christian, not a hypocrite.

Also, I've been a pretty good influence on her. ;-)

She despised B*sh, thought the Iraq War was a travesty, and has grown much more comfortable with gays and homosexuality then when I first met her. Her favorite character on 'Glee' is Curt. And she came this close ----> <---- to voting for Barack Obama in 2008.

She's my honey... :loveya:

I am just above Mphs. flooding north of me, west of me and south of me. But I am in oasis of higher ground and no tributaries. My life goes on normal, while few miles away people are in trouble. unreal.

8. Absolutely LOVE that line.
What a great song. I always listen to it when I'm running and I'm getting too winded. Calms me down :)

Though I don't have a clue about anything else Marc Cohen has done.
