So, I'm heading there for work tomorrow. Will be there about a week but will only have a day to myself. Thinking of going kayaking. Anyone live nearby or know the area and have recommendations?
Also looking for some Cuban food and maybe some Cuban jazz. Possible or no?

1. My daughter lives in Hollywood and I used to live in Miami. |

I don't know about kayaking. You probably would have to go to Hollywood Beach for that. For the best Cuban food, I'd suggest going to Calle Ocho (Southwest 8th Street) in Miami. Great Cuban restaurants there.

See, this is the best part of DU - I knew somebody here would know someone who lives there. :hi:
I should have mentioned the hotel I'm staying at is right on the "broadwalk". I'm hoping I can walk to the Anne Kolb Nature Center and rent a kayak there.
Was hoping to find a place to listen to some music at night a little closer to the hotel than Miami - right on the beach would be nice (if a little unrealistic ;) ) but I'll travel to town for the food.
Thanks again!
