I've not seen this show since I was a little kid and really only remember the premise. Now I'm watching it on Antenna and man... This is really one strange show.

I think the idealized, nostalgic image of 50s and some 60s tv was it was wholesome, clean cut, and pure. But, if you watch some of these programs now, they were pushing the envelope in ways back then just as they do now. I personally also don't remember the show other than vague memories of Sally Field in the nun's habit, but I'm sure you're right.

Lots of Spanish speaking people (it take place in Puerto Rico). Also, the nun (Sally Field) forms a relationship with the local rich playboy who definitely has the hots for her. You should have seen how upset the mother superior was when Sally put colorful dresses on all the children... Including the boys! heh, funny stuff :D
