I grew up in Toronto, playing hockey and worshipping the Maple Leafs. Too young to remember their 1967 Stanley Cup win, they continued to be my team for another 30 years.

I moved to Vancouver in the mid-90s, and after a couple years the Canucks became my team. I no longer play hockey, and I'm normally not a flag-waving rabid sports fan, but

DAMN, MY HOCKEY TEAM IS FINALLY IN THE STANLEY CUP!!

5. Rooting for the B's, but the refs made bad calls against both last night.

That goalie interference call against Vancouver was just sad for a Stanley Cup Final. Thomas was well out of his crease. I say this as a former goalie, he was fair game, and besides, he embellished it anyways (as most players do when they know they have a trigger happy ref crew working the game). Refs need to let the players decide the outcome. Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals was awesome, and not a single call all night. Too many iffy calls against both teams last night for my taste. I'm glad the game was decided on a good play and not because of a lame call against one team or the other.
