following my grandfather around his back yard as he marched out a Canadian flag in the snow (yes we are a political family). All of a sudden my grandfather fell into an old well and only his arms were sticking out. I was 4 at the time and I remember holding onto one of his arms for dear life. Being four I thought that if I'd let go he would have been swallowed up by the earth of course. He managed to climb out himself and we all felt like heroes. I was so proud of myself.

Proud to say my kids learned to do the same. My boys came home after a long hot day at work (landscaping) yesterday with a story about on their way home stopping and giving a couple jugs of water to some people broke down on the interstate .
