A committee at the Constitutional Convention in 1787 briefly considered language in Article I that would specifically have allowed members of Congress to “send to any party without constraint images of their unclothed bodies by means of electricity.” The provision was scrapped when it was discovered that “Anthony the Man from the Future” was not a legitimate member of the New York delegation.

1. I thought it was funny, but there seems to be a "check your humor at the door" policy in GD.

I'm constantly amazed at how many flame replies I get to posts that SHOULD be fucking obvious satire. Maybe DU needs a feature where you can turn on an automatic :sarcasm: addition to any post you make in GD.
