A mabye (not so) crazy note to breast cancer survivors
My wife and I used to love to take a week off to run down to Switzerland for a week in the Alps.
When in the States, we used to like going to the Colorado Rockies. I always wanted to take her
with me to some of the small towns outside Quito, Ecuador, especially Otavalo and Cotacachi.

No more.

After she had her battle with breast cancer, she kept in close touch with other women in our
area (German Rheinland) who had suffered from the disease. One after another, at different times,
five different, supposedly healthy breast cancer survivors took vacations in the high mountains,
usually the Alps or the Pyrenees for skiing vacations. Over a space of nine years, each of these
five women experienced a return of their breast cancer, this time in very aggressive form, and EVERY
ONE OF THEM was dead with three months of returning from the mountains, sometimes within four weeks.
This was the ONLY thing they had in common. This didn't happen with any of the other women we knew
who had also had breast cancer and recovered.

We talked about this with a few oncologists, who said it was mere coincidence.

Maybe it is, but after five women in a row, all of whom seemed in complete, healthy remission,
you couldn't drag my wife up a mountain for all the tea in China, gold in Fort Knox, coffee
in Colombia, or clothes at Nieman Marcus.

There might be absolutely nothing to this, and maybe it's just like the experts said--pure
coincidence. But after seeing five women we knew, ALL of whom were in complete remission,
experience a fatal return of their cancer after two weeks up in the mountains, she prefers
to remain just a little paranoid. If you're a breast cancer survivor, it's something to think
about in case you're wavering between a vacation on a beach in Hawai'i or skiing at Kleine Sheidegg.

1. Did all of them have lymph node involvement?
If so, at the very least they should have been concerned with lymphedema. High altitudes can set it off.

3. Good question
I'll see if I can pursue it. It's complicated, as the parties involved are no longer available
for inquiring, and we don't know who their physicians were.

2. My dear DFW...
It sure doesn't sound like coincidence to me.

And even if it is, there's no harm in staying away from the high mountains.

I wonder if any studies have been done on it.

My best to you both!

:hi:

4. honestly the studies.
What they did is find the most common delusions.

For instance, ESP, that is really easy to explain many ways. And it does not have to be real to be simulated, even in an experiment. The point is the people that study it usually get side tracked by not following a principle or concept.

For example if you wanted to know something for some war purpose, there are lots of delusions people can be led down. Then when they see the same delusion in many people, they think that is what occurs.

But lets get serious, I am due beer and travel money, and that will be sent.

And I am not worried if someone else chooses to do harm to someone, becuase that is not my choice. And if possible will try and help those in hardship, that does not mean I don't know what is comming for some people.

But I will be sent the beer and travel money that is due, and there is no way to not know the supernatural exists, therefore the only explanation is they think it is bad, and from that don't think they should do what they should to correct things.

Hence the only way hell can exist, is by someone not able to correct what they should by only seeing the nightmares, and nobody being able to help them.

Best example would be someone running away every time you try to help them, or biting your hand, or treating you wrong, every time you try and help them, becuase things in there mind don't want them helped, becuase there are things, in there mind that hate them.

I am due beer and travel money, they wont send that becuase there own mind hates them, maybe the knives will help with that.

Do you have another suggestion, becuase I am not going to give up on justice and compassion, and a world that moves to more justice and compassion. Nor the just due of beer and travel money that is due to me.
