My lovely Stephanie just took a sea shell full of wasps out to a safe place. |

Unreal. She put a large white sea shell out on our porch and it soon became a wasp condo that sold out fast. They started getting too active (meaning buzzing around like wasps do) around our door yesterday.
Just a minute ago she grabbed a wet Costco paper towel and covered the sea shell with it then relocated them across the parking lot to a new less human occupied address.
I hate to say it (it is sexist) but she has bigger "balls" and more heart (to relocate - not kill the wasps) than most people I know - or me.

6. Not her. She is the only person I have ever met with NO allergies. None. |
|
It's weird. Everyone around us is hacking and coughing from the various allergens in the high allergy zone that we live in and she is never impacted by it. It's weird. Mosquitoes don't even touch her...
I may have married a genetic superior!

9. Sorry. I just got the shell joke (5 beers -looked like a typical typo). It wasn't that funny though. |
|
Even in jest and cartoons wasps rarely hit humans in the head with a shell...they may sting folks but not bludgeon them.

11. A lesser towel would have split... |
|
that would make a good Costco paper towel commercial ;)
 to Stephanie.
When we were kids my nature-boy brother found a 4" sea snail on the beach in Maine. The snail had died from being out of water, in the sun. An old island man told him to leave the shell outside under the bushes while we were there for a couple of weeks, and the ants would clean it out. They sure did, and my brother kept the big white shell.
