1. good karma?
You could look at it as, "Whenever I'm out of money, my friends want to treat me to something."

Do you treat them to things when you have money? That could be how you run out of money, and also why turnabout is fair play.

In any case, yay friends who will treat you to things. :bounce:

5. I don't run out of money, it's just that I'm ALWAYS the one treating them.
I'm tired of cheap friends.

10. Well, if she bails,
you won't have to buy her lunch. That should count for something.

11. it's supposed to be for my birthday.....
I'm tired of reminding people....I'm a generous person, how come I'm almost never remembered in return? I just hate that.

12. Happy Birthday.

I hope you have a terrific birthday this year, and that your friends remember and take you out to celebrate.

I don't know why your friends wouldn't remember. Maybe you need better friends. Maybe they just need incentive.

For every friend who doesn't remember your birthday this year, go find them, kick them (hard) in the butt, and tell them it's for missing your birthday and that they better do better next year, 'cause you'll be using a ball bat to remind after this time.

3. My sister does that,
She invites me out for lunch or whatever and I wind up with the bill.
Or, It's her "Can you spot me a Twenty till payday?"

Last year, I even wound up paying for lunch and my birthday gift?

How does that work? It's really OK cause I, at least, got what I wanted as a gift not that thing she chose.

6. Yup, those are my friends. Or most of them.
They invite ME out and then I'm down 40 bucks. Or they invite me out to dinner for MY birthday, but oh, they can't afford MY dinner. Oh, thanks. Yeah, yeah, when you have the money, whatever. :eyes:

My birthday is coming up again, it's not going to be pretty. :(
