9. Ordinarily, I'd agree, but I went to see Mr CARRERAS

and the gentleman totally deleted any charisma from his act. His program was esoteric, absolutely NO crowd pleasing junk. And, apart from his tux and the accompanist, his only human interaction was to stuff a hankie onto his draining sinuses.


He might have done something, like "Amigos para siempre." Just to give us plebes a kick. But, NO. His encore was a desperately dead crap like "Granada" or something. That was the ONLY thing anybody had ever heard of before and didn't want to hear at that particular moment.
