Any other Android lovers on DU?

I finally got the Android I had been wanting... like forever... Motorola Defy is probably the only phone that can survive me...

Any one else love your phone, or is DU stuck in the iUniverse?

What are your favorite APPS?

1. I'm going to make the move to Android later this year.

I hate the iPhone, and AT&T blows. I'm looking to get the HTC Thunderbolt (or whatever new phone is available next month) and then I'm planning to get an Android-based tablet like the Toshiba Thrive or Motorola Xoom later this year.

4. I have t-mobile's google g2

It rocks. So easy to use, integrated with my email, calendar and everthing else so quickly and painlessly.
Favourite app is a game right now, Stupid Zombies!

5. I have the Droid 2 Global.

I love the phone. I have it rooted too.

I'm going to update to a 4G phone at the end of the year when my city finally gets 4G and LTE.

7. One cool thing about UAE is I can have pay as you go calls and a flat monthly fee on data

I currently am paying about $20 for 1GB per month. This is plenty as 2/3 of the time I am connected via WiFi.

11. I have the old original Droid

Recently had to use insurance on it. The screen was getting phantom touches and jumping around and opening things as it lay on the counter and the very surprised Verizon employee watched ( ;

And I know, I know, Google has my data. But, someone is going to. And, I didn't have to type anything back into it save for my Google Uname and Pword. All that tedious retyping of data, skipped.

My only serious frustration with it is that it can't handle Angry Birds ( :

12. Droid me

Hi,
I have a Droid X, love it, will never go back to Crackberry. Some of the apps I use a lot are Amazon Cloud Player, can load songs from computer to the cloud and play them on your phone. Google Listen, a podcast aggregator, WeatherBug, TuneIn Radio. These are all free btw.

The pic made me laugh, I uh....dropped mine in the toilet and it survived, sad thing is I was not even intoxicated.
