I have in the last two years or so got away from the hard rock and started the whole Brian Setzer and Stevie Ray blues thing..it is another dimension harder to play than hard rock.

I still struggle with the basics of what they do

5. the thing about blues
is that it's usually only two or three chords...
but its simplicity is its brilliance

it's not the chords I struggle with..I can do that easy..it's the solo's...they take it to a level i can't touch

8. Wish I could watch videos.
It's opposite for me--I love to play blues but not hard rock so much. I never really considered Brian Seltzer a blues guy though.
I like the really old stuff.

7. I loved the Stray Cats. Brian Setzer is the rockabilly master.
Would take me a lot of work to get even close to copping that.

It takes me weeks of work to get even stuff like SRV's P&J down to performance acceptability.
