Cottenelle is doing a toilet paper roll cover? STUPID!!

Wouldn't that be difficult to use when most homes have a roller to stick the toilet paper?

1. Maybe everyone does not use a roller for their t.p.
My daughter cannot use the roller in her bathroom. Her cat unwinds all the t.p. from the roller and t.p.'s her apartment. She has to leave the bathroom door open when she works during the day, because the litter box is in there. Also, her cat loves to sleep in the bathtub. He would scratch the door to splinters if he was kept out.

Maybe other people have other reasons for needing a toilet paper roll cover. Or, maybe it is just some decorative cutey-pie idea that I do not understand.

5. Oh gawd. My grandma gave us one of those in the '70s.

It was like a Barbi doll knockoff, and she was wearing a giant crocheted skirt. You stuck her legs in the tube hole and the skirt covered the TP roll. Creepy, creepy, creepy. No wonder I always hated dolls. :scared:

on edit: Found an image of examples:

11. Well, you know, I guess we need to be protected from seeing ACTUAL toilet paper at all costs!
I mean, if you see the paper, and you connect it with wiping the bad bits, and, well, who knows where that all leads ...

9. I thought they were called cozies.
Edited on Tue Aug-02-11 09:54 PM by frogmarch
My mom crocheted toaster cozies, elec. mixer cozies, and assorted other cozies. Nearly everything in the kitchen had a cozy. My daughter and I were always going to crochet a huge cozy for mr. froggy's John Deere tractor, but we didn't get around to it - and didn't know how to crochet anyway. We had fun imagining it, though, with a pom pom on top.
