Archetype comedy. Unmatched forever. Archie came close. So did Redd.

6. It was before my time so am I correct in thinking
that they didn't have air conditioning back then? And yet they get dressed up in a suit and tie to go out for a milkshake and a soda.

Now I'm no clothes horse and certainly no fashionista but sometimes I feel like I missed out on something. My non-work wardrobe is almost entirely Levis regular fit jeans and death metal band T-shirts. But I bet it would be fun to get all dressed up like that just for hanging out. I always feel a little bit special on the rare occasions I do wear a suit but it's almost exclusively for funerals nowadays so that generally sucks the fun factor right out of it (although my step-father's funeral will be an exception but that's a whole 'nother issue).

Am I alone in this? I see B/W photos from that era all the time and everyone is in a suit. It all seems so neat-o.

7. Yes. That was the way it was in that era. Any pictures of my parents and grandparents
from that era, everyone was dressed up. Suits and ties for men, and dresses for the women.

I think I wear a tie once a year. More if there is more than one funeral.

9. I loved them together. The kids have been watching the series recently. I do have to
point out that the way Lucy acts or the way Ricky sometimes treats her (like spanking, for example) are not cool to do in real life.
