they are quite easy to train I guess. Don't think my kids would be impressed when we showed up for Christmas with one on a leash.

our hogs as she was a different breed. She was limping and looked like the sow had rolled over on her and crushed her back leg. We took her in, named her Poochie, fed her a bottle, and warmed her in the oven. My dad let us keep her as a pet until she reached a weigh of 580 pounds. She could never be bred because of her hip and he finally made us sell her. But for a couple of years she was like our dog. She ate peanut butter sandwiches, loved vine-ripe tomatoes, and chased our school bus from her side of the fence. Loved that pig.
