What habits will you take up when you are 75 and no longer afraid of dying young? |
|
I will take up smoking again once I hit 75. Especially if they have assisted suicide at that point (with all the seniors around in 30 years I'm sure it will be legal - I just don't want to suffer or die young when I die of lung cancer). You?

6. I am 72 and have been smoking since I was 16. |

I am still alive with no serious health issues. I told my son that I wanted to quit, and he said why bother now.

Right now, the fear of falling thousands of feet, while periodically smacking against small ledges and protruding rocks, until I land in some inaccessible place, sort of discourages me from taking up the sport
But when I'm more, like, about that, I'm gonna buy me an ice axe and shoe cleats and pitons and ropes and a cup to hold my dentures when I'm sleeping in a hammock dangling off the rockface -- and it'll be a whole new adventure

13. I'll probably get a muscle car again like I had in the mid 70's. |
|
And let it rip again like I did in the mid 70's.
Got 12 tickets in one year with that 340 Duster.
I'd like to relive those days one more time.
Maybe a virtual simulator will be available by then, so I don't hurt anyone.
Otherwise, watch out everyone!

18. I just quit smoking 3 years ago at 43. I like how my lungs feel all nice and clear now. |
|
I don't crave smokes. But I figure that in 30 years my lungs will have healed enough that I can both smoke, and have clear lungs like it used to be in my teens and twenties. Silly I know to plan on smoking again. Who knows my life may be so full at that point that I don't need the cruch. But for now it is a nice daydream to have (plus I have just quit drinking alcohol).
