As usual, she's saving Timmy's ass. What a lame show, but what a beautiful animal.

1. Did you know there were something like seven of them and they were all male?

3. They are beautiful. If I get another dog, I want a collie. We have a sheltie and border collie now
A sheltie sure looks like a collie that went through a shrinking machine. Border collies don't look anything like them, but they're all great herding dogs and well suited for chasing the damn rabbits out of the vegetable garden. The sheltie is lightening fast. She could easily catch them but doesn't. She just sees it as a game.

4. If you're used to herding dogs they do make good pets.
When we lived in VA and the kids were very small, we took them to riding lessons at a nearby farm who had several collies running around (the kind w/black in them). They were extremely intelligent although a bit stand-offish until they get to know you. As is typical w/long haired dogs, there is regular brushing involved or else they'll turn into a matted mess.

8. Uh huh., I don't have cable in my bedroom so I had to get
one of those converter boxes and voila-there it is on channel 4.2. The best thing is they show I Spy, Dragnet, Adam-12, Kojack etc.

6. Lassie at some point had to wonder, is Timmy's ass really worth saving, once again?
I mean, should he be allowed in the gene pool?
