What if you woke up tomorrow and the only thing we had was beepers, nothing
more than beepers and land lines. What would we tell the children?

How many fewer accidents would there be on the highways? How much more productive would people be at work? Would people see each other on the street?

Would online gambling take a hit? Would people just pick up a brick or a cardboard box and pretend it was a cell phone? I wonder.

1. You beep me, and I WILL call you back.
You can keep the rest.
The kids do NOT need another distraction from tuning into the world. They'll be fine.

I'm thinking of getting a John's Phone. Have you seen this? (JOHN'S PHONE link:) http://www.johnsphones.com/store/johns-phone-bar/item46

On/off (for real), call/receive, and that's it.
No calendar, no camera, no text. Has earphone input.
Any SIM card. Only $99.
