Today I don't want to talk about Social Security, the wars, Medicare,
the election, the pipeline, the hurricane....nothing nothing nothing.

My dear friend will probably come to the end of her life's journey before nightfall- after 19 years living with the results of a stroke. She had the defining second stroke this week and isn't expected to survive the day. Her family of four girls and husband are with her to help her make the transition.

She was a great person, a beautiful sky goddess in her younger years, an extraordarily super homemaker and mother. She never said anything bad about anyone and took all her trials and tribulations in stride just as a southern belle would.

I'm happy she'll be released soon from the pain and suffering she's endured, but sad that we won't have her grace in person to guide us.

You'll be missed, Sweet "Pete". Enjoy your new adventure.

4. I'm always somewhat at a loss as to what to say in replies to sad posts like this
But your last two lines really say it all. Obviously a beautiful soul, and I am at least glad you had the privilege of having this wonderful person in your life.
