I mean, his politics shouldn't matter when enjoying his art, right?

I particularly like that one where he's eating the watermelon.

1. Some photos of the art in question, for context.

I wouldn't but that's mostly because they're not my style. He painted a lot of landscapes and natural scenes with people. Realism. I rather prefer artists like Rene Magritte, Joan Miro and Jasper Johns whose work is clearly more message-oriented and less about content.

2. How much?
I might at thrift store prices. They're kind of boring.

4. wouldn't a better comparison be to Nazi artists who had some actual talent?
And yeah, I've got a copy of "Carmina Burana" and a whole stack of von Karajan cds.

7. He ws clearly a better painter than I am. But then, I have stronger skills in
not killing millions of people and plunging continents into war, so it sort of evens out...

9. Maybe you simply haven't given yourself a chance.
If you really worked at it, I'm sure that you could become a genocidal maniac.

Go on, give it a try!

10. No. I wouldn't buy a painting or
anything else that Hitler made.

Or paintings by that clown (Gacey, I think was his name) who murdered all those young men and buried them under his house.

Or anything by any other vile piece of shit.
