Why, why, why do dogs eat the creepiest things.
Early today I clean out my patio gutters. They were filled with leaves and debris. I just threw it on the lawn, cuz I'm going to mow tomorrow. Smelled like a street gutter. Yuk. My boy, Lance, just finish his dinner and when outside to pee, but I caught him eating this stuff. Ewwwww.

1. mine eats dirt regularly - and chewing gum off the sidewalk
and cigarette butts off the street (though he has not interest in the ones in my ashtrays). Oh, and rocks, tree bark, mulch, weeds, and styrofoam cups are apparently quite tasty. Naturally, his dog food he considers sort of icky. :banghead:

2. paper products
My dog Yank will over look a sirloin to get the napkin that the person eating the steak has used. And Dingo, the aussie cattle dog, will have anything dead that the cat gives her.

3. Cat poo.
Dogs love grocery shopping in the litter box. Maybe they believe in recycling.

10. Ugh
Hi,
My brother came for the holidays once with this dog and of course was oblivious to these obnoxious beasts having a fondness for cat poo. So thus the litter box was a free vending machine until I discovered it. Never would have imagined.

Peace

But then she's a lab, and they'll eat anything. I can't even be near her after I catch her eating cat poo. x(

5. Why. why do dogs roll in the smelliest things?
Was walking my dogs one day and my Chihuahua started rolling in something stinky. She really smelled like something had died. Luckily. she is small enough where I could stick her in the tub when I got home.

12. I have two Chihuahuas and they both love to roll in smelly crap.
I think Chihuahuas must be more inclined to do this than other dogs are. That's OK, justice awaits at the door in the form of Mrs. Lasher. They both hate to get a bath and that is their immediate punishment for rolling in poop and rotten dead animals. These guys are both small enough to bathe in the kitchen sink.

8. It all started with two crazy dogs.
Dog 1: Hey I just ate some rotten spaghetti with mold and maggots.
Dog 2: You idiot! I just peed and pooped all over that!
Dog 1: (throws up in disgust)
Dog 2: Just how I like it! Piping hot! yummy.

9. They sure do eat everything!
got out this morning to walk my dog and man was i surprised! as we turned right around the corner of the park, i left my dog leashed on the park bench for a short while since i saw a friendly face to chat with as i turned back to my dog i saw him rummaging through the pile of dirt near the bench and he was chewing on something! i commanded him to throw it up but he swallowed it! I was a bit worried though cause as i went near the pile of trash to check it out it smelled horrible like something was rotten and stinking! i hope my dog diet eat something that would get his tummy upset. so far no signs of it though.

14. rotten egg
This happened when I was a kid. One fine day, our dog found a rotten egg and bit into it. A horrible smell was released. Then the dog started to eat the rotten egg. My brother and I were watching. We both were nauseated.
:puke:   :puke:
The dog was happy. He looked around for more.

18. You should be careful with that because some leaves and tree debris are poisonous.
