You know Jason--working so well as Lucius Malfoy, the oozingly wonderful father of Harry Potter's nemesis, Draco. Well, PBS is ahowing Jason's Mystery! show, though I can't remember the name of it off the bat. With his natural dark hair, and nice body, he plays a detective named Jackson Brodie, sort of in the same vein as many other Mystery! detective shows.
Come January, he will be in a new series on NBC, about a police detective straddling two parallel worlds, one in which he lost his wife in a car accident, and the other, in which he lost his son. I don't know the name of that, either, but if anyone is interested, I'll get it. (Not a PR for Isaacs, but I think he's cool!)

Hi, hyphenate--I'm a big Jason Isaacs fan too :) and popped in to let you know that the name of the PBS series is "Case Histories." It's based on a series of novels by British author Kate Atkinson, and has apparently been approved for a second series (there is one novel remaining of the original group, "Started Early, Took My Dog"). Jason did the reading for the British edition of the audiobooks, though not the American edition. The NBC series, which also stars B.D. Wong, is called "Awake."
