Woman flips off sheriff on Wisconsin interstate
A 49-year-old woman flipped off the wrong person on a Milwaukee County interstate: the sheriff.

Department spokeswoman Fran McLaughlin says she and Sheriff David Clarke were in an unmarked sport utility vehicle with tinted windows late Thursday morning. They were in a lane that allows drivers to turn left or go straight, and the woman was in a left turn lane.

McLaughlin says the woman thought she could go straight and tried to get around them but couldn't, then sped past with her hand out her window. Clarke stopped her and she apologized, saying if she had known it was him, she wouldn't have done it.

She received citations for operating with a suspended license and reckless driving. She was arrested on a warrant for operating with a suspended license.

1. Sounds like getting her license suspended didn't teach her to drive friendly, huh?

2. What the hell? Flipping someone off when you were the one in the wrong?

The dickitude of some drivers never fails to amaze me.

Honestly, though, I hope she would've gotten that citation even without the bird.

5. I have a story about a cop...
Was driving to my boyfriend's house.....doing the 40 mph speed limit when a cop flew in front of me and cut me off....no lights, no siren....so I held up 4 fingers and then made an 0 with my hand,to signify the speed limit...did it a few times....he slowed down, changed lanes and let me pass him....he then got behind me and flashed his lights to pull me over. So I pulled over and had my license and reg ready to go. He came up and started in on me. "Did you know that I was going to a silent alarm at a bike store down the road". I said, "No, I just know that you cut me off and you were speeding without lights/siren on". "Well, I needed to sneak up on the robbery." I stated, "Well, that's all well and good, but you cut me off and I had to slam on the brakes." I then asked what he pulled me over for....what law I had broken. He then went back to his squad car and ran my info and then came back and stated, "Everything is good. But you may have allowed a robber to steal from a bike store". I then told him, "Then maybe, if your pride hadn't gotten in the way, you would have carried on with the silent alarm call and not spent 15 minutes with me. Can I go now, cause I have a hot date waiting for me." The big, fat, bald cop said to carry on.

I laughed all the way to my BF's house. Pride is one of the 7 Deadly Sins bud.....

8. Sorry, have to call it as I saw it.
He was overweight, bald and quite pink-faced if I may say so myself. If he was thin, had nice hair and was attractive, I would have typed that. But, alas, he wasn't.

He was more worried about me and my hand signs than the robbery at the bike store. Pride indeed.

11. I have been flipped off by other drivers who were in the wrong...
As a pedestrian, I was nearly run down by a driver going completely against the light. And he scowled and shook his head in annoyance when I yelled at him.
And then there was the time when I was driving on the turnpike, not too fast, in the left lane because I'd just passed a slowpoke, when I saw a car broken down in the oncoming left lane.
And right in front of me, a driver in a black car slowed down and STOPPED in my left lane. I stopped, of course, and hit the horn.
The driver, a Pennsylvania State Trooper in uniform stepped out of the car and looked back at me. I slowly sank down in my seat with a look of horror on my face. He laughed and smiled and didn't punish me. He saw to the oncoming car that had broken down, talked briefly with its driver over the divider railing, called it in and directed all of us around him.
He was kinda cute, too.
