Call for these 55 California electors to contest OH votes (contact info): |
|
I posted this under "2004 election results". I put in several hours gathering this info and not one person responds. What a waste of time!! :eyes: :( :grr: but maybe someone here is interested. http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=203x211034I thought it might be a good idea to contact all "Blue state" electors and ask them to follow the example of the Vermont electors.

1. Things get lost in the board and there is a new BBV/Bev |
|
thread so you had to compete with that. LOL.
I did read your post and copied the info into a word doc for later. My question - haven't they already "cast their votes" so to speak? Can they reverse what they voted on the 13th? (Not trying to be an idiot - just asking)

4. No, I am probably the stupid one here... |
|
I had read this on Christmas Eve day in the midst of seasonal hubbub:
"Electors call for national voting reforms by Greg Guma | Vermont Guardian Thursday 23 December 2004 Breaking with tradition, electors in at least five states have called for a congressional investigation of voting violations during the Nov. 2 election for president. Electors in Vermont, Maine, Massachusetts, California, and North Carolina registered their concerns as they cast their votes last week...."
...And I thought this was something that had JUST happened, rather than something that happened on Dec. 13. I posted all Wisconsin electors' names on the Wisconsin board, and suggested we ask ours to do the same thing, AFTER Christmas. I got several encouraging responses, and no one noticed the error. Finally I had a chance today to go back and look up all the electors, as I said I would do.
I think I am never going to post a thread again. Here I thought I would be contributing something valuable for once!! :dunce:

7. Thanks --REALLY I needed that :) |
|
But I just thought of this-- Maybe we could bug all the blue state electors to pressure our representatives and senators to contest on January 6, 2005. That might carry some weight !

8. I say let's concentrate on those Senators |
|
They make for tasty targets of faxes and emails.
;)
You are too funny, by the way. :)

2. The electors have already met. |
|
I'm afraid I can't see the point of doing this now, maybe you could explain it to me?
