Gore Vidal is a kickstart to the heart and soul of believers in the Republic, and its venerable Constitution...
As the current administration shreds the Constitution and the amendments which follwed it, people search in vain for voices that rail against the regime.
Vidal is such a voice, and I encourage anyone who is dissatisfied with the Cheney-Bush Junta (copyright Gore Vidal, 2002), to read his two 'pamphlets':
Perpetual War for Perpetual Peace
and
Dreaming War: Blood for Oil and the Cheny-Bush Junta
RationalRose, are you going to the speech?
