I got bored with it quickly, though, because these knuckle-draggers can't put together a cohesive argument and resort to profanity and insults immediately when confronted with intelligent and articulate liberal arguments.

No doubt about it. I don't know if you remember the old NewsMax Forum - they shut it down about a year ago. It was the snakepit of the Internet. Absolutely the lowest, most virulent form of conservatism you can find. But, it did have a lot of traffic. Even more than DU.

Anyway, after they shut down NewsMax, where I posted some, just to confront the enemy fact-to-face, the conservative vermin scurried off to several different forums, including Atrios, Ether Zone and this Boot to the Skull (BTTS). I find the BTTS crowd to be the most interesting to observe, because you can get a sense of how conservatives are going to try to spin certain news, the attack strategies against Democrats, etc. I prefer to lurk than to post, however.
