:hi:
Come one, come all to the Kucinich Convergence Political Party (KCPP) World Music for World Peace on Sunday, January 18th 6:00 to 11:00 pm StudioZ 314 11th Street and Folsom San Francisco, CA 415-252-7666 www.StudioZ.tv
Join us for live music, dancing, drinks, a presentation, entertainment, and a possible video conference or phone-in from the man himself, Dennis J. Kucinich, the Common Sense Democrat for President.
Congressman Kucinich is attracting enthusiastic support from all over the country because he clearly articulates the aspirations of so many people who dare to dream of a world that works for everyone. Dennis J. Kucinich is the only Presidential candidate who would:
* repeal the Patriot Act * oppose reinstating the draft * cut the bloated Pentagon budget * get the UN in and the US out of Iraq * repeal the Rave Act * decriminalize marijuana * legalize medical marijuana * de-escalate the War on Drugs * end our dependence on fossil fuels * develop sustainable energy technology * withdraw from NAFTA and the WTO * champion a living wage and health care for all
DJK is not taking money from corporations or Special Interest Groups and he needs our help in his historic progressive-populist bid for the White House. Yes, politics can be fun!
Here's what the evening promises: In the main room: for the 21 and over crowd we'll have live performances by world music artists Fontain's M.U.S.E. (fire artists, ritual) and Heart Chants ~ Trance Dance with Serendeep a short talk about Conscious Politics, a full bar, dancing, a possible video conference or phone-in from Dennis, and some surprise guests. Tickets at the door are $15 to $25, sliding scale. ~~*~~ In the adjoining annex: open to all ages the Kuzanga Marimba Ensemble bringing you high energy dance music from Zimbabwe and "Kirtan for Kucinich" with Bhakti and friends Tickets at the door are $10 to $20, sliding scale.
