Peace walk update:
The peace walkers are on the last leg of their journey from Maine to San Francisco. I hear Dennis may walk with them the last mile. I spent today walking with them, and am revived, energized, and grateful that I got the chance to do so. We walked 4.5 miles through a little mountain town, spent time on a picket line at Albertsons, and talked to lots of people.

My town, being what it is, did not welcome them. I was the only person who came out to meet them. We did get a nice article in a local paper, though:

I was thrilled to see how warmly we were received further north. I'm wondering if I can figure out a way to travel north and join them at the end again.

1. Very nice article LWolf.
You did much better than I did since no one would cover them while here. Good work and I know how good you must feel today for being a part of that wonderful experience.

2. What a great experience!
Thank you for sharing. DK is going to make a difference in our nation. He already has made a difference in my life. I'm glad you and muserider have been able to share in these walker's experience and to support them in their walk for peace.

3. I am glad, too.
It really helps to take your focus off the everyday, mundane issues and see/work for the bigger picture. Jonathan is an amazing young man, and I am blessed to have met him.
