DOVER TO D.C. MEMORIAL PROCESSION:
A Trail of Mourning & Truth
to honor those killed and wounded in Iraq

Sunday, March 14 - Monday, March 15, 2004

The Bush Administration refuses to acknowledge all those being killed and wounded by war in
Iraq, but we will not. In order to acknowledge the true human cost of this war, you are invited to
participate in the Dover to DC Memorial Procession: A Trail of Mourning & Truth. Starting at the
Dover Air Force Base, where the U.S. war dead arrive, we will honor and mourn all the casualties of
this war. In mourning and in truth, we will deliver to the nation's capital our call to end the war and
occupation. We will process in the manner of mourners with solemnity and dignity. See the
schedule.

Sunday, March 14 - Trail of Mourning and Truth

(times are approximate)
Noon
Gather at Camden Friends Meeting, 122 E. Camden-Wyoming Ave. (Route 10
West), Camden DE. From North take I-95 & Route One, exit at #95 for Route 10;
or take Route13 and turn right (west) on Route 10. From South take Rt. 13 North,
turn left on Rt. 10. Parking is available at Fifer Middle School, 109 E. Camden
Wyoming Ave.
12:30 p.m.
Brief interfaith service conducted by Odette Wright, Native American Spiritual
Leader, Imam Rudolph Ali, Bob Smith of Brandywine Peace Community, and
sendoff.
12:45 p.m.
3.5 mile memorial procession to Dover Air Force Base (AFB)
(Transportation for those who cannot walk this far)
2:30 p.m.
Program at gates of Dover AFB (speakers include members of Military Families
Speak Out who lost loved ones in Iraq, Veterans for Peace & others)
3:30 p.m.
Transportation back to Camden Friends Meeting.
4:15 p.m.
Funeral caravan departs for Baltimore for overnight stay.


Monday, March 15 - Trail continues to the White House where
the war started
