When I started reading DU Jacinto had about a zillion posts and seemed to have a good grasp of state by state , district by district races. He just disappeared. What happened?

5. Couldn't find his name anywhere in the archives |

Am I doing the search correctly or did the DU wipe him out completely? I was looking for an excuse to browse the archives but as I said...

but didn't stick around long with that. After his troubled short job and mugging in Florida he went paranoid and reactionary so wasn't long for DU. I hope he gets his act together again but it seems unlikely he'll reappear here in the near future.

I recall his moving to Florida. So is he still there I wonder?
Seems that he had a pretty good education, from what he said.
So he turned right-wing?

12. I doubt he turned right wing |
|
but he was rather hostile to leftist standpoints, especially on crime. As I recall he was very adament about harsh penalties for criminals.

I think it's Jiacinto, not Jacinto.

say what you will about Carlos, I think he contributed a good deal to these forums, especially in terms of electoral analysis.

15. He was rude ALOT and whiney to boot. |
|
One of his first posts was "pity me" and we supported him.
Then when anyone dared disagree with his genius mind on a topic, he would get intollerable.
Maybe he'll learn a little and grow up a lot.

Carlos added a lot to the discussion here at DU. He was intelligent and outspoken which kept things stirred up and I thought it was great to have such spirited discussions. A lot of people disagreed with him but I would say an equal number of people agreed with him on a lot of his views.
Hope he comes back someday.
