(This is a PDF file.)

It's no surprise that Bush is toast in Philly, but it is a shock to see that he's polling poorly in predominately GOP Montco. Kerry's pulled ahead in the City of Philadelphia AND Montgomery County.

If he can't win Philadelphia, Pittsburgh or the unions, he can't win
- PERIOD.

GO KERRY!!!!!!

2. I'm surprised by the congressional primary results
On the democratic side, I thought that past polls showed Allyson Schwartz easily beating Joe Torsella but now it seems very close. Both are very good candidates so either one would be fantastic.

On the republicans side, two time GOP nominee Melissa Brown is also in a close race with Ellen Bard. I thought Brown would be leading easily. Both are moderate, but Bard seems to be a pretty liberal republican on most issues including taxes which is rare. If I had to pick Bard or Brown, I'd take Bard, but of course I would prefer the democratic nominee.
