So what do you think it'll be? After finishing strong in Iowa and NH, he has 10 primaries in one week. And it's a very diverse group of states: south, mid atlantic, west, midwest, old northwest. 2/03: Arizona Primary • 2/03: Delaware Primary • 2/03: Missouri Primary • 2/03: New Mexico Dem. Caucuses • 2/03: Oklahoma Primary • 2/03: South Carolina Primary • 2/07: Michigan Dem. Caucuses • 2/07: Washington Dem. Caucuses • 2/08: Maine Caucuses • 2/10: Tennessee Primary
Does he alrady have staff in these states or is he going to ignore them? Meetuper's and other activists are doing a great job getting his name out, but I am not sure if he has any direct plan of action in the coming months. One of the things I think he needs to do is to get out a more positive message and stop the constant attacks on other democrats. Attack Bush, and critique other dem's, but we're running against shrub, not the democratic party. People like positive candidates more than negative ones(isn't that a brilliant sentance :) )
OK, time to get going to Baltimore for my meetup. See you there.

Oklahoma is a waste of time and energy. The 4 democrats who live there are already voting for Lieberman.

3. I am on the State Dean commitee here in CT... |

and the campaign is begining to organize a parallel organization of actual campaign staffers to coordinate with the national campaign, and to help direct the efforts of the meetupers more effectively. I am sure that Dean is working that same angle in the more important states (like those cited already). After all, CT is not even that important, except to embarass lieberman.

2/03: Arizona Primary -probably not great Dean territory; mostly conservative, Lieberman's looking at it for his salvation. • 2/03: Delaware Primary -good possibility, fairly liberal, but not in his first tier. Dean will go for it, but not much. • 2/03: Missouri Primary -assuming Gephart's still in the race, it's his. If not, it will probably go to Edwards. Not much of an opportunity for Dean. • 2/03: New Mexico Dem. Caucuses -good spot for Dean, he'll go for it big time to show he's got Hispanics and Native Americans on his side. • 2/03: Oklahoma Primary -No idea. • 2/03: South Carolina Primary -not a good spot for Dean, he'll skip this. • 2/07: Michigan Dem. Caucuses -Great place for Dean, they're very liberal and they love him. He won their straw poll and he gets rousing ovations when he goes to speak there. It'd be a double coup, cutting one of Gephardt's legs off, assuming he's in. • 2/07: Washington Dem. Caucuses -Very liberal, very supportive of Dean. Nice pickup on the same day as Michigan, helps him change the story from the 3rd, which doesn't have much for him. • 2/08: Maine Caucuses -Regional advantage, natural Dean territory. • 2/10: Tennessee Primary -By this point, if Dean's rolled up a series of victories, he might show some unexpected strength if African Americans and urban voters trend toward him. Otherwise, it'll go to a southerner.

If you're going to insult hundreds of thousands of people, at least TRY to keep it confined to the correct scientific classification...

If Dean doesn't get the nomination, whoever does will need his supporters. Attitudes like the one you are expressing sort of doesn't make me eager to get behind someone else.
Tell us, who do you support since you have an obvious undeniable hatred for Dean?

9. Dean should do well in Washington and Maine |
|
He also is showing strength in Arizona and New Mexico. A new poll today in Michigan shows him surging from 3% in the Spring to 13% now. With Lieberman and Gep tied at 19% and Kerry at 15%--very close for all of them.
