Candidate Dean makes house call in Derry, NH and wins new fans

Bill Heeney of Salem liked what he heard when he complained to Howard Dean, MD., about paying taxes on his Social Security income. Dean during a patented 'house call' at teh Derry Medical Center, refused to promise to cut or end those taxes 'because one of the things I want to do is balance the budget.' He promised only that he'd look into the issue. Heeney, one of about two dozen people invited by Dean's campaign to the forum, thanked him for the answer. 'You didn't try to con me. he said. Later, Heeney said dean had won his vote with the no-frills answer. 'Others may have said, 'don't worry. It's the first thing I'll take care of.' He didn't sound like teh same old kind of politician."

1. America is desperate for the truth

Dean is telling it like it is, whether or not that's what the pollsters are saying people want to hear. Americans are crying out for honesty and integrity in the White House again, and that's why I feel that Dean will stomp B*sh like cheap grapes next year.

with all the Democratic candidates going door-to-door, volunteering to shovel, sweep the floor, etc. Sounds like dean's doing that.
