Kucinich supporters keep heart, good things happens to those who wait
I feel we are bound for something magical by Dennis, well we can always expect that from him :). We may not be far in the polls..........yet but I am gonna play the twist lol on those who use history to say he hasnt got a chance, frontrunners in primaries dont particularly get it. Now how many of you knew who Clinton was this time 1991 or if you are older Carter this time 1975. Also good things happen to those who wait. We got to work hard, and we will prevail.

Cynics use history against us, lets use history and most importantly hope against them.

3. Kucinich is awesome.
He has passion and really cares about all people and their real needs. He understands what is really important. Can you imagine what this country could become if all people had access to education, K-college and health care. If we actually worked with the rest of the world toward peace insted of against most of the world toward war. Kucinich has true vision and has got me excited about the future again.

5. Clinton was in 5th place and Carter was virtually unknown at this
point the year before they were elected. By October of 91, Clinton's popularity among Democrats had slipped to 6 percent. Only two people in Dean's position have won the nomination in the last 44 years. Those were Mondale and Gore.

6. Dennis is the man
I have said it once and again, each of you Dennis supporters are better Americans than I am. I am being pragmatic and supporting John Kerry.

Mind you, I like Kerry. It isn’t a holding my nose deal. I respect many of the things he has fought for and would be very happy to see him as our next President.

However, Kucinich has such a refreshing, enlightened view about the world I am sometimes ashamed I say, “He has no chance in hell.” I am torn, but…

I do believe NO MATTER how much (or how little) The Kucinich campaign accomplishes this year, you people better believe that he (and you) are setting a course for a greater world. It may not happen next year, or the year after, but at some point the children of the Kucinich movement will rise up, be counted and take our nation back.

The rest of us are good Democrats and we want what’s best for the nation. You people are the only one’s with the balls to DO what’s best for the nation. May you all succeed in life, you’re the best.

7. Kucinich is who I want,
but I will work for & vote for anyone against bush.
Thanks for the kind words. I like Kerry, Dean and most of the other candidates, it's just none of them get me as excited as Kucinich.

8. aye Mr. Kerry is a good man
I like what he has done in the past, I prefer him to Dean. Thank you for your compliments, cant wait for President Kucinich's inguaration, all I need to learn is Croatian ;) heh Dennis isnt all Croat, see my post in the lounge, Croat-Irish people rule :) thats almost me but I am part Slovene,Slovak, and German as well as Irish. Kerry is pretty ethnic too, Irish I think, Jewish, and British.

9. Cool

I don't mind people taking their candidates and passionately supporting them. I think the Kerry/Dean fued has been a black eye on Democrats and we can do better.

I hope, I pray you are right about Dennis. If he wins the White House I will meet up with all the DK supporters and party with you. I work in D.C. so I could get to any Dennis shindigs. Of course, they'd be for the average Joe so it probably won't set me back much.

Kucinich is the one man...The one guy I believe we can 100% trust. He is all about his principles.

Oh yea...I miss Paul Wellstone. Kucinich is the one guy who always reminds me of Paul. For that, I am greatful to Dennis for his spirit and courage.

16. Why the early rush to pragmatism? If you really believe in what

Dennis is saying, why not support him now? Or even support both Kucinich and Kerry campaigns? It's a long road until the convention.

Just curious why you think you have to commit to Kerry now. . . :-)

12. your welcome
I got another less serious but interesting DK thread in the lounge now. It turns out our friend Dennis isnt all Croatian, hes part Irish too :) being part from the blarney thats cool, and being part from near Croatia thats cool too. See Kucinich has it all; great issues(repeal of patriot act etc, a great sucess story(the poor kid who became the boy governor and soon will become the president), a great work ethnic(is in congress for all if not most roll votes), ethnicity (half Irish and half Croat) lol the latter part doesnt matter but hey I would love an Eastern European president have never had one here. So we are gonna have Kielbasa and potatoes lol Irish potatoes that is, and we're gonna wash it down with some Guniness heh. Aye I cant wait for Kucinich to be president.

14. Remenber John...
In August 1991, Bill Clinton was running at 2 percent in the polls.

Dean is not the Bill Clinton of 2004, he is the Paul Tsongas.

Paul Tsongas
Paul Tsongas, a son of Greek immigrants, rose from city councilman of Lowell, Massachusetts, to represent the state in both the House of Representatives and the Senate.

One of the first nationally known Democrats to push a pro-business agenda, his economic vision caught on long enough to put him briefly at the top of the 1992 presidential primaries.

http://edition.cnn.com/SPECIALS/1997/year.ender/obit/politics/#8

Sound a lot like a the political ideology of a certain Governoro running for the nomination right now?
