BREAKING NEWS! - General Clark to Address Draft Movement |
|
This is a message sent by John Hinko of DraftWesleyClark.com
Hi all, let me try to give more of the details on this. Apologies for the late notice, but… this was as last-minute as last-minute gets.
General Clark is recording a message for the MeetUps tonight. We anticipate this will be a thank-you message, which *might* be accompanied by an announcement date. Tonight is NOT an announcement of a candidacy, but will be the first time he has directly addressed the draft movement as a whole, so it is pretty darned cool.
We will have this live on the DraftWesleyClark.com web site at 8:04 (20:04) eastern time tonight. And, we will try our best to get the digital file to DraftWesleyClark.com Platoon Leaders early, so that you can have it on laptops to show, in venues where there is not a Net connection. We are rushing quickly, this is happening in real time, so bear with us.
If you have questions, want to make sure you have a copy for your MeetUp, etc., please call Chai at 973-819-2030. I will be off email much of today, so please contact Chai directly.
Thanks to all for your hard work in this extremely rushed effort. If we get what we want -- I suspect we'll have a whole lot more of these over the next 14 months.

1. Whow...you scared me.... |
|
I thought this was a post telling us that General Clark was wanting to re-institute the military draft. You know we need more troops.

Can't take the indecisiveness! Clark's game of peek-a-boo has gotten old. At this point, he's looking less attractive as a VEEP candidate, let along the top of the ticket.

If Clark announces that he is running, I will welcome him into the race.
If Clark thanks the draft movement people and then says that he is not running, you will have my sympathy and support.
If Clark thanks the draft movement people and then announces the date in which he will announce his candidacy, I will say "Thank you, Hamlet!" and you will still get my sympathy and support.

9. Thats what I heard too. From his own lips on CNN. |
|
I understand he will be at a rally or picnic in Iowa then. I also understand he will either enter the race or not. No in between, like VP anouncement at this time. I believe he will leave the light on for VP.

12. Tonight is the last DWC meetup, since after Sept., he will either... |
|
be a candidate or not. If he will be a candidate, then we will have a different meetup group.

Kinda the way Clark does!!!! (I am such a sucker for his looks.....shameful!) I am really counting on him running......I just cannot get excited about the other candidates. Hope we're not all let down!
