Million dollar challenge met @ Johnkerry.com!
Scoff Dean fans, we don't care. But this is another million into the pockets of the Kerry campaign given by his loyal and intelligent backers. I was so happy just a few seconds when I went to his site and bam! was that extra digit marking the million mark.

1. No scoffing here

I'm a Dean supporter, but I think it's great that Kerry broke $1M. Eventually, we'll all be in this together. Even though I identify best with Dean, I do like some of what Kerry has to say.

3. Congradulations!
As a Dean supporter, I'm glad Kerry is doing well.
I also think he'd make a fine President,
just prefer Dean for this time round.

Best of luck!

4. Nice job, Kerry!
Did any other Dem other than Kerry or Dean do a concentrated on-line fundraiser? It seems like such a no-brainer, both Dean and Kerry have proven that it works.

6. Thank you Deanies
I appreciate your support. And I do hope you make your $15 if you haven't already.

I donated $50 just a minute or two before we hit the million. I didn't go through the hammer, I went through a Kerry Core. So I don't know if I put us over, but I'm going to pretend I did!!! Yeehaa!

7. I'm not scoffing
The first time we had the bat up, we raised about $800,000. So $1 million is good...I am not sure how long it took for you to raise that, but in any event, you did it, and I congratulate you.

10. Dean folks
Thanks for the kind words, and congratulations on the earth-shattering success of your fundraising this quarter. I wish Kerry's people had thought of that idea first.

11. This is just wonderful
The 1 million, the millions raised by the other candidates combined.

But most of all--the civility of this thread.

I feel as if I'm in an Edwardian drawing room w/o the dripping venom and it feels damn good.

We *are* all in this together--

Now add up the combined numbers of each of the candidates and compare that with the Q3 numbers for *

Not so bad, huh?

They compare * with an individual candidate in the press- which is basically bogus--when will the press do the math???

12. That's only because not a vote has been cast
wait 'til everyone sees how their candidates fare in the only race that counts. I'll bet you'll see some venom then. :)
