Great Kucinich event in Laguna Beach today.
The church where it took place was packed. After the seats were taken, people crowded along the back and sides and in the patio outside.

Dennis's presentation each time is different. Today he spent a lot of time talking about the contractors (investors in Bush's campaign) who have contracts in Iraq. He wants the U.N. in and the U.S. out and he wants the U.N. to decide who gets the contracts.

The program today was started by a former Republican who has switched parties because he feels Dennis best represents the views of the American people. There was also a Natural Law Party representative who spoke. The Natural Law Party has endorsed Dennis and has asked it's members to vote for him in the Democratic Primary. The Mayor of Laguna Beach introduced Dennis.

Dennis did an amazing job of answering questions. Just before Dennis left, 12 year old Natasha played Imagine (Dennis's favorite song) for the audience to sing to Dennis.

There were also numerous birthday cakes and the crowd sang "Happy Birthday" to him. His birthday is on Wednesday. The two cakes I saw each had a flag and read "Happy Birthday to the Next President of the United States, Dennis Kucinich." That says it all.

4. looking at DK, stance on guns?
not liking Dean's NRA rating. Where does DK stand on guns? can't find this on his topics list.

6. I've seen mention of it--he allegedly favors controls of some kind
but it doesn't appear to be a strong policy. Or at least I can't find anything about it on his site either. He himself carried a handgun for protection, years ago, and as far as I can tell he's very strongly pro-Bill Of Rights. He seems, in general, to be more pro-carrot than pro-stick.

7. You know
that is not helpful. I got off the Dean wagon months ago but I will tell you this, these kinds of statements do not help your cause. If you do not wish to discuss Dennis Kucinich and his policies I really hope you will stay out of the threads. You are not helping Dean at all with this.

help.

12. What "truth"? You haven't spoken a single fact that I've seen
to date! BTW you've been alerted yet again.

10. I though about that
but didn't know if it qualified, was just headed to check. I will alert as well. It is just stupid.
