Why do we let the media run OUR debates!!! |
|
We Democrats are trying to elect a candidate to defeat George Bush. But every time our candidates get together to debate, they are badgered by corporate media talking heads trying to suck up to their pro-Bush bosses.
Why do we let this occur? Why don't Democrats run the debates? Maybe with a panel of questioners representing Labor, The Black Caucus, the DLC, the DNC, women's rights groups and other DEMOCRATS? Maybe moderated by the League of Women's Voters (remember them).
It is about time we run our own show.

In describing host Judy Woodruff's performance:
"When will people like Judy Woodruff realize that the debate is NOT about her, but about the candidates?"
Much the same could be said for Ron Insana of CNBC in the New York debate--what gave him the right to "diss" any candidate he chose if he was just there to ask questions?x(
We DON'T need that kind of editorializing--quite frankly, nobody cares what the overpaid media whores think--we're watching to see what the CANDIDATES think!
