And the same themes, too: DK is unlectable, Clark is a PNAC plant, Dean is a hothead, Kerry is a war criminal... blah, blah, blah...

Drives me up the wall.

14. Oh, but I would understand that!!!
I missed the post, but as a child I had baloney sandwiches every single day. At some point, I got literally sick from baloney and couldn't eat them any more. I'm 46 and still can't eat baloney. And also grape kool-aid, which made me sick on a hot summer day. So I would totally understand baloney fear. All smart people fear baloney!

4. You know I laughed when I read what I posted and so I shared it here
People take their campaigning very seriously. Sometimes i forget that not everyone considers all of us on the same side. I should try not to enflame people like that, but I can't see censoring my opinions to avoid the fight. I rarely partake if ever partake in bashing. I make it a point to try not to answer people who trash Kerry with a "but your candidate is worse" answer. I can see now that this is how it is here. I can't say I won't post something I find funny, but maybe I'll tame down the title.

It kills me to say that. We are supposed to be a free country. maybe I'll fall back on my Catholicism and be more humble.hehe

6. JohnKleeb......
gets his spurs! He truly is DU's knight in shining armor. I think a few years from now, we will see him running for President, and say, "Isn't that the kid who was always the peacemaker on the Democratic Underground?" And he will win in a landslide, and be the best President ever! ;)

8. Amen to that!
Peacemakers like Dr. King, Anwar Sadat, and Jimmy Carter never get high marks from the rightwing or (electability first) crowds. But any person who works at making peace while others are fanning the flames of vengence deserves high marks in my book.

"Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the kingdom of God. Blessed are you who hunger now, for you shall be filled. Blessed are you who weep now, for you shall laugh.

Woe to you hypocrities, for you shut up the kingdom of heaven against men; for you neither go in yourselves, nor do you allow those who are entering to go in. But woe to you who are rich, for you have received your consolation. Woe to you who are full, for you shall hunger. Woe to you who laugh now, for you shall mourn and weep."

9. I lose my temper as bad as anyone
I am the last person on earth you wanna run in to mad, I curse, I scream, etc. However I realize that I guess we should make peace with ourselves. I wont run for office ever I dont think. I dont plan to. I tell you, I really could be just as a mean as son of a bitch as anyone and believe me I can but I play the role of peacemaker because theres so much more worthly to fight.

16. Kleeb you are a prince among men
It's funny that a so-called "kid" is the one setting the example for us supposed "grown-ups". From the mouths of babes...

Agreed w/ you on running for office. It's a very difficult and taxing thing for anybody to do these days. Anyways, it's always more fun to be the "outside agitator" and pointing out to the good folk that the king has no clothes. And you can do crazy stuff like get arrested for trespassing at anti-war rallies and calling attention to the evil that we sometimes do in the name of good.

Keep it JK. If DK doesn't get the nod this year, I could see you managing his campaign in 2008! Take it easy bro.

:hi:
