Dean bashers -- How do you like your crow?
When Dean wins the nomination next summer, I'll be dishing up some crow BBQ. Please place your orders now for rare, medium, or well done and choice of side dishes.

Dean is showing he is Clintonesque when it comes to triangulation, and while you all may wanna diss him, remember most of you have made the ABB pledge.

Misquoting Dean or twisting his words so he sounds like he means something his supporters know is untrue only leads to hard feelings.
Remember what they say - candidates in glass houses should not throw stones.

5. How prescient I was. Pandering to gun wackos leads to kneeling before CFB

As of tonite, Dean Quixotes candidacy is now in flames. Gun worship=Confederate battle flag worship. Hell even Zell's against the Confederate flag nowdays. Good riddance to Howard Dean.

3. The little Gubernator won't survive this. Confederate flag =racism
Look at the blasting he's taking even on this very proDean forum. The NRA enemies list got this rolling and now this fatal blunder. No progressive can survive embracing the Confedrate flag like Dean has done. Besides it reveals Howard's real character.

2. Here's some of my homemade BBQ 4 U and Dean
Dean hasn't SAID: He'll pull out of Iraq THUS: He might pander to the Defense industry and Bush hawks when elected.

Dean hasn't said: He'll provide universal health care THUS: He'll keep in place the current system, which kills people every day

Dean hasn't said: He'll cancel NAFTA and the WTO THUS: He'll allow the power of the American industries to enslave foreign workers and keep jobs which would be legitimate here. Thus gaining the support of these industries.

All the things Dean says sound great. It's what he doesn't say. Please click on http://www.kucinich.us read, and join. It's not time to elect a Democrat branded viable by a media which marched us into war, it's time to elect a candidate that the media fears, because it will change the world. The revolution will NOT BE TELEVISED! http://www.kucinich.us

Thank you

I don't get it with Dean. I don't get it with Dean Supporters. One of the worst things Clinton did was to slide in bed with the right on NAFTA, I absolutely couldn't believe it. Reagan/Bush all over it. Dean is an outsider, there's his push. I'm not against him, but I'm still not seeing the appeal. DK, still as the long shot, has his shit wired tight!

9. Because I Favor NAFTA?
Because Clinton had a booming economy, thanks in large part to free trade?

Protectionism nearly destroyed this country when the Republicans tried it, helping to push the U.S. into the Great Depression.

Why should government tell consumers what they can and cannot buy, from anywhere in the world? If I want to buy French wine, a South Korean wireless phone, a Mexican blanket, or Canadian paper, why should government fine me for that?

Look, I'm all for basic standards in our trade policy, like respect for the environment. I don't think we should be importing elephant tusks. But I absolutely favor free trade.

12. NAFTA
Alot more to NAFTA than free trade. Sure it had alot to do with economy, but then you're giving the other side the credit, it was their idea.

Is that what this is about? Nyah, nyah, nyah. We're better than you are, you suck I told you so????

Geez, how juvenile. We're here to beat Bush. That's what this is all about , not some sophomoric ego contest. Get over yourselves. I'll vote for Dean if he is the nominee but this kind of silliness does little to endear me to him or his supporters.

But if it makes you all feel better to act like 1st graders who got to be first in line for ice cream, go for it.

10. Al Gore lost because black votes weren't counted in the south.
The Deanies have given up on that winning the right way and are in the gutter chasing after racists and gunwackos like a jonesing crackwhore on a mission. Confederate Dean, the only 2004Dem not on the NRA enemies list.

8. I'm pro-Kerry, but I find it abhorrent that anyone here would twist what
Dean said and make him into a racist.

Read his statement..nowhere does he condone the Confederacy or racism. He simply shows that even people with whom we disagree with politically have common ground with us....like the equal opportunity screwing that we are getting from the health care industry.

C'mon folks.....think.

13. it's not racist... it's opportunist pandering.
i have no idea what dean would do in office. since he is pandering to anyone and everyone, and his record in vermont is decidedly pro-big business and special interst agenda it is really disturbing that he should be claiming to represent (in paul wellstone's words) "the democratic wing of the democratic party".

especilally when he courts the NRA and the confederate flag waving segment. come on... who are we, anyway?

i'm a hard-core dem, and i don't see dean representing us or displaying any kind of leadership that brings us closer to our base.

14. He absolutely legitimizies the Confederate flag.Either he's stupid or he's
Edited on Sat Nov-01-03 11:58 PM by billbuckhead
pandering to a group that aspires to overthrowing the post-civil war American government. He didn't say he wanted the votes of alienated white males. He didn't say he wanted the votes of pickup truck owners. Dean very calculatingly said he wanted to be the candidate of pickup truck drivers with Confederate flag bumperstickers. By making Confedrate flag wavers a coveted voting group he legitimizes this group and this god-damned flag. This is absolutely despicable or absolutley stupid. Either way, liberals should dump the Dean campaign into the dustbin of history.

17. Yeah, Isn't It Funny...
...That Washington insider caucasians seem outraged -- OUTRAGED! -- that Howard Dean could dare be frank about what Republicans are doing, using race as a wedge issue.

I'm so tired of politicians who think they speak for African-Americans when they just have no freakin' clue.

19. Why don't you ask a
black person in person how they feel about what Dean said. Maybe making a big deal of much of nothing. Blacks are some of the most forgiving(no not gullible/stupid)but genuinely forgiving people. For the things that have been done and still is being done to them how often do you find them spewing the rabid hatred like the repugs? I think this may be a fire being flamed that has nothing to do with black folks.Perhaps it is time to deal with race because I can see backwards moves on it and many mre freedoms that have been accomplished over the past years. We're all hurting and if someone can educate people to show them that that they are just being used, getting screwed then I say it needs to be done. Remember "you can't fool all the all the time" some will wise up.

18. I haven't made the ABB pledge
Anyone But Bush is stupid.

This country needs a drastic change.

The only Dem candidate who has laid out a complete vision of such changes is Dennis Kucinich.

I really don't see myself, at this time, voting for any front leading Dem candidates in the general election.

Just getting Bush out of office won't solve America's problems. Anyone who thinks so is living in a fantasy world.

you'd vote for bush, if kucinich isnt running?

Ha,

Hate to brake it to you kucinich lovers, but he'll be lucky to get more than 3% of the primary vote, thats just the hard truth.

SO I guess we can count you as a vote for bush then?

22. my vote will go to the best candidate on the ballot
if that is Dennis Kucinich, great.

if that is the green party candidate, great.

if that is the libertarian candidate, great.

if that is the socialist candidate, great.

I won't be voting for Bush and if the current polls mean anything, I won't be voting for the Dem candidate either.

The world is burning and American presidents over the past 50 years are only adding fuel to the fire.

This country needs a new vision, new leadership.

26. Now I've Seen It All
Dean supporters are literally saying that triangulation is a good thing!!! I loved Clinton, but I despised his triangulatin' ways.

But that's not even the doozie!

"Remember what they say - candidates in glass houses should not throw stones."

The chickens are coming home to roost for Dean. You live by the sword, you die by the sword. It is quickly becoming everybody vs. Dean. Not because they are behind him, but because he is so nasty. Most other campaigns are friendly with each other. How many campaigns are friendly with the Deanies?
