John Kerry embraces Race Baiting
I guess it wasn't enough for him to vote for the war, Patriot Act, No Child Left Behind and budget bankrupting tax cuts. Now he's taken up the habit of race baiting. What a Republican! Instead of getting his elitist ass to black voters trying to win them over, he chooses to try to underhandedly turn them against Howard Dean by race baiting lies. Pathetic.

Does Kerry do anything other than lie nowadays? Making lame excuses for lousy votes doesn't count.

1. It's Not gonna work, though! So it's
all for naught. Except to make him look like a horse's ass.

2. Kerry's Negatives Going Up
John Kerry was really well liked in New Hampshire, but his negatives were 26 percent in the Zogby poll and rising. Guess he's not satisfied yet.

3. Kerry voted against Bush's taxcuts.
Dean brought up race in his campaign first, saying he was the only one talking about it. Now, he says he wants the vote of the Confederate flagwaving pickup drivers. That's Dean's doing, not Kerry's or anyone else.

6. Yes indeed
desperately posting slightly different takes on the same issue.

Desperately proclaiming that Dean is "finished!"

Desperately wishing for DeanDeanDeanDeanDean to just GO AWAY!

Oops, sorry, you didn't mean that, did you? Sorry. :)

5. Yes, he DOES want the vote of the "Confederate flagwaving pickup
drivers"....and everybody else. Judging by his polls and recent endorsements, he's doing well with the Dems. You have a problem with his appeal being broad-based enough to actually win the general election?

If you're set on a left-wing radical candidate, don't back Dean. If, like many of us, a fiscally responsible centrist Democrat who speaks to a variety of voters on BOTH sides appeals to you, Dean is a great choice.

7. Are we reduced to pandering to the Confederate flag? To the NRA?
Talk about pink tutu Democrats.

8. How is it pandering? It's called inclusion, and it's about time somebody
suggested it. Do you REALLY want to live in an "us-versus-them" society? The sooner we begin to look at the things that bring us together rather than the things that separate us, the better off we'll be.

Screaming "racist" at southerners with Confederate flags is no more helpful than conservatives screaming "pinko liberal" at us. We are all in this together and it's about time somebody said so.

10. No, We're Going to Talk About Real Issues Not Wedge Issues
We're not going to vote for pre-emptive wars that kill people.
We're not going to suspend our civil liberties because the government thinks it's a good idea.
We're not going to pretend that "No Child Left Behind" when nothing could be further from the truth.

We are going to reach out to all kinds of people, including southern pick-up truck drivers with confederate flag decals, to talk about economics, education, and health care. (Education is how they'll learn why they shouldn't be displaying the confederate flag. Telling them they're stupid and racist won't do it.)

We are going to objectively look at gun violence and try to figure out why Canada, awash in guns, has a low murder rate and why we don't. (Hint: The war on drugs and race baiting are two reasons.)

That's the real Democratic Party. At least it ought to be.

11. 35 Years...
...And very little to show for it. Healthcare sucks, education sucks, and there's a reactionary Republican in the White House who got a blank check to invade Iraq, suspend civil liberties, and leave lots of kids behind.

I think it's fair to ask, "Where are the results?"

12. Jesse Jackson Jr. Endorsed Dean, Right??? Kerry is a horse's ass
I guess Kerry would say Jackson is just a dumb black dude who is too stupid to see Dean's true colors.

What a moron Kerry is.

Dean's statements are dead on right. Dems and poor whites (even the rednecks) are getting screwed by the elitists like Kerry and Bush.

To appeal to them is BRILLIANT,

He said he wants them to PUT DOWN the confederate flag and JOIN US!!!

I agree with Dean

15. If John Kerry or Dick Gephardt Wins the Nomination...
Do you think for an instant that the Republicans won't wrap the confederate flag around them -- how much they despise southerners who drive pick-up trucks with confederate flag decals -- resulting in yet another landslide Democratic loss throughout the entire South (and Bush not even having to bother defending it)?

Gephardt just handed the GOP a huge gift with his stupid quote today about how he doesn't want votes from southerners who drive pick-up drugs with confederate flag decals.
