So who thinks the SEIU endorses Dean on Thursday?
It might be something even bigger that Trippi's e-mail is referring to, but Dean supporters are supposed to get an important e-mail Thursday with race transforming news. I think the recent attacks on Dean by some of the other candidates is going to help him secure the endorsement from the SEIU. If most of the members are Dean supporters then they are mighty angry at the others right now.

2. You'll have to wait until Mid May
that's when they hold their presidential "town meeting."

10. Slight mistake....
They held their 2004 presidential "town meeting" in May of 2003! Douk!

Guess it's up in the air... Figure they'll go with SEIU (which ought to endorse Dean after the way backed union organizing by nurses in Vermont). Also, consider that Dean has a plans for serious federal revenue sharing (which had historically been post depression public policy in EVERY previous administration when states were in fical crises).

Both endorsements make sense. But on that note I'll add that Trippi had better follow through with something other than spam, or I'm firing back the same sort of little love note I did after I got my third or forth direct mailer.

3. That would be justice and the exact day that
SEIU said it would make up its mind.

However, I'm expecting a one-two punch. Something else is up Trippi's sleeves.

Has Graham ruled out endorsing anyone yet?

5. The only thing bigger I can think of would be
an endorsement from either Gore or one or both of the Clintons. I think if it were a bigger endorsement it would have to be Al Gore because I don't think the Clintons will endorse anyone in the primaries. It could be Jimmy Carter, too, though.

12. Hillary could endorse someone...
But Bill won't. He's already said as much. I think his comment that Wesley Clark would make a good president is as far as he will go.

6. AFSCME will endorse who ever SEIU endorses
I think because of the ties between Sweeney and Linda Chavez Thompson.

However, I really don't know which way the wind is blowing in either union. Just speculating.

7. It's possible
If he doesn't get it, then I will consider it some fallout from his confederate flag remarks.

14. And if he does get it will you consider it a repudiation
of the hoopla regarding the flag issue or will you say the union leadership duped its membership?

8. Rivals work together against Dean
http://msnbc.com/news/988836.asp
WASHINGTON, Nov. 3 — In a rare alliance, strategists for John Edwards, Dick Gephardt and John Kerry discussed whether they could stop the Service Employees International Union from endorsing fellow Democratic presidential candidate Howard Dean.

This is outrageous!

If these three would spend some of their energy doing their freaking jobs NOW, they might be able to save a few lives in Iraq for instance.

Shit like this just makes me support Dean more than ever. These thuglings aren't content to let voters decide for themselves, they have to GANG UP and play their filthy little washington games. This country needs a CHANGE and these dudes are NOT IT.
