Ellen Karcher wins in NJ
Won state Senate seat, pushes Dems into solid majority in the State House (first Dem in 12 years in District 12). Pukes lose a little battle in the great war.

1. WOOOHOOO
I wonder if we will get Houston and Dallas too.

If we get Louisiana, oh my goodness, that will be aweseme.

However, if Blanco loses, I have no doubt in my mind that Jindal will run for the Senate seat being vacated by Breaux.

4. Looks like Dems 21, Pukes 19, or 18 and an Independent in Senate
NJ remains the Liberal bastion of the US.

5. Maybe 22 seats
Madden declared victory in the 4th district but a recount is almost certain there. The democrats will have 46 or 47 seats in the assembly while the republicans will have only 44 or 43 seats. Democrats held a 41-38-1 advantage before the election due to party switches to the republicans and greens and the senate was 20-20.
