Pa. Governor Rendell goes out of way to Praise Dean at DLC meeting
While the DLC is going out of its way to attack people like Howard Dean and are doing more than any organization to foster the idea that Dean is unelectable. We don't need the GOP to do it when the DLC is doing such a great job of putting down a fellow democrat.

I was heartened to read that Gov. Rendell of Pennsylvania gave a speech at the DLC conference and went out of his way to dispute the Mark Penn poll by pointing out Democratic successes in Governors races in 2002 and going out of his way to praise Howard Dean's record as Governor and his "great respect" for Dean.

you'll have to scroll down to the section marked ABC 2004: the DLC.

7. I don't understand
If they lose constantly then why did they win Arizona and Michigan and liberals lost Georgia?

9. Liberals?
Since when are Roy Barnes and Max Cleland considered to be liberals. Moderate or centrist would be a more appropriate description.

3. We saw how much good Rendell did for Gore
Gore would have been much better off without him.

5. Rendell advised him to step down
I'm not in PA and so I am more concerned with the fact that Bush wound up doing Al's job.

6. So did Lieberman
I'm concerned about that (Bush in Gore's job) too. It's amazing that the Republicans have the Democrats so scared for themselves that they were all urging Gore to give in.
