Democrats Try to Recruit Ben Chandler for House Run
Democrats, in the race to high and replace Gov-elect Ernie Fletcher, are wooing Atty. Gen. Ben Chandler to run for the U. S. House seat from Kentucky's sixth district. Chandler would be our best candidate, if he would run. Also mentioned for Democrats are State Sens. Ernesto Scorsone and R. J. Palmer, as well as Treasurer Jonathan Miller.

2. Yeah
Name recognition will be EVERYTHING in that race, since the campaign could last little over two months.

3. Losers
Socrosone ran against Fletcher in 1998 and lost. Chandler just lost the Governor's race? For him, I guess it's about how he did in the 6th district.

Miller should run against Bunnin. Who is Palmer? Has Palmer actually won an election?
