Attack on Roe v Wade and 2004 |
|
I know there is a different forum about the law Smirky signed. However, the threads in this forum don't seem to be addressing the politics of it and it directly impacts 2004. According to one analysis Bush, simply by signing the law (even if he really doesn't care if it holds up) may succeed in getting FOUR MILLION EVANGELICAL CHRISTIANS who stayed home in 2000 to come to the polls. FOUR MILLION! The official (stolen) margin of 2000 was 537. Four million (and I realize that not all 4 mil will come, but a significant number still might)could and probably would result in 4 more years of the Cheney Bush ventriloquist show.

1. Yes. Too bad they don't realize that the week before he signed it, |
|
he said "Roe v. Wade" is not going to be reversed.

2. I know. But that was why the analysis was so alarming. |

The feeling is that just by signing THIS law he will get them to the polls. He is the only Pres who's done what the Evancrazedicals have been looking for. And in the next term it's almost certain that there will be Supreme Court justices to replace. And with no personal repercussions politically. Very scary.
