Edwards on curbing govt abuse - 2002 |
|
In August 2002, Edwards and Schumer proposed a bill to limit government surveillance, creating a commission to recommend guidelines for the government's use of "snoop and surveil" technology.
Just thought I would post this for those who suggest Edwards had come to this issue late. Privacy issues have been a hallmark of Edwards' since he got in the Senate in 1998.
