Kerry, plants his foot firmly in his mouth with, "Well, it all depends on which poll you look at. I saw a poll the other day that showed me about 15 points ahead of her." Trying to rebut a poll showing her continually 20+ points ahead of the whole field ?

She will be speaking numerous times at the Iowa Jefferson-Jackson Day events on Saturday, promting the NEW YORK POST to write:
HILL CRASHES DEMS' BASH ?

And, she will be attending five fund-raisers & book-signing event during a trip to the Midwest this weekend ?

.. and there's still time to fill out "ze papers" for the NH primary.

.. that's some nasty and harse rhetoric. But on a more serious note, why is it most polls (not just NYPost, et al) have her nearly always on the top? I believe that due to the weakness of this field, she may get convinced to get drafted at the convention. What's to say that George "deep pockets" Soros steps up and pledges gobs of $$ to make her electable ? With enough $$, ANYBODY is electible, look at AAAAAAhhnold, the Governator!

It just seems really odd that she's running way under the political radar.

9. Why do Dems

always discount any thought of Hillary winning? I don't think she is going to run but I certainly think she could win. Look at her Senate Race. It was supposed to be close. She had to win certain groups big to make up for the huge losses upstate. Something like 47% said they would vote for anyone BUT her. She got 56% and won upstate.

She could certainly beat Bush if she chose to run.

10. Because the Clinton victories lacked coat tails

They won and they did lots of good, but they left a Republican controlled government in their wake. What should have been a decisive win for Gore was a squeaker with some VERY unpleasant technicalities in Florida.

The Clinton's win personally, but fuck up everyone around them--including Republicans (think of "Spanker of the House" Livingston). Their victories cost us too much. Even three years past it all, I'm still tired.

If they drafted her, I'd work my ass off for her. But the party regulars won't draft a woman they respect but simply cannot stand.

...she could just stand there and laugh at dubya until tears streamed down her face and would be declared the victor. i think she's the only one who could get away with that though.

her senate race was interesting-- the people who voted for her did so because they wanted her in office; almost ALL the people who voted against her did so just because they hate her, not because they were voting for, uh, what's-his-name. i was worried that she would lose because i wasn't really sure what people actually thought of her... plus i can never figure what all the upstate conservatives are going to do. guess people don't hate the clintons as much as the pukes would have us believe.

i think she would trample the shrub.

She beat Lazio 56-42. Pretty solid 14 point win, but she still ran far behind Gore who beat Bush by 25 points on the same ballot in New York.

13. It's Gotten unfair to Hillary

(and I'm no fan of hers), but it's gotten to the point where she can't go anywhere and speak without the press saying that means she's running for president. She's a popular senator. She will travel and speak, and it doesn't mean she's running for president.
