2. I'm with you!
I so want DK to be the President. I think it would give a lot of people in this country hope that they don't have now.

5. What I like most about DK is his overall good views on just about anything
You can trust him with peace, with labor, the enviroment, etc. but to some that makes him unelectable.

6. Time
Just give the public time: the war will get worse, the jobs will keep draining over to Asia, and the country will become more and more polluted. Let's just hope people don't take the word of the media that though their yard smells like ash, they are unemployed, and their childhood best friend is in Iraq killing the father of a family of six because of a strange look, the country is a happy place ready to accept the policies of vague politicians who are so afraid of Bush that they voted for the recent $87 billion appropriations bill. Good night all. Thanks for participating in my poll.

9. That's it. keep up the doom-speak.
There's not a candidate in the race who is "worse than Bush", not a single one. I strongly dislike Howard Dean, and I'm not too far from that towards Dick Gephart. Lieberman is much to right-leaning for me, and even HE isn't "worse than Bush".

I think that's a lousy thing to say about any of the Dem candidates.

10. I agree, Mairead.
As much as I dislike Joe Lieberman, he would be a 10000-fold improvement over *; if nothing else, I at least know that JL believes in basic civil liberties and a social-welfare safety net.

It's funny, there's only a couple of people on my shit list, but I can almost figure where I'll see them. Of course I stay logged in so I DON'T see them, but that's the point.

If DK were elected and all of his policies immediately enacted I would see to getting some of my family to make those doctor appointments they've been putting off, calculate my own savings from insurance I no longer need, and make plans for continuing my education.
