Hey AWD I have an idea for your campaign

I am sort of a neighbor and like you represented by a Republican in Congress (Steve LaTourette). His opponent will be Ed Jerse. My idea is that you share TV time. You both need to run ads on Cleveland TV but there is no reason to pay for a full ad. Run ads with each of you taking 15 seconds to explain your messages or better yet agree on specific points. The Republicans need to go because of x,y, and z. The Republican's did this last time with some State Senate Seats. It seems worth a shot.

...at Ohio dem HQ. I will propose your idea to him and see what he says.

We'll be having joint fundraisers as a group (all Ohio Dem candidates), so we can make this work.

This type of tactic has been done for State-wide candidates in the past (suce as Supreme Court judges), but I can't recall seeing candidates from different districts doing it before.

I'll contact him and see what he thinks about it.

I know both of you are going to be very outspent so you need all the help in that regard you can get. I am not really able to give money so I am hoping ideas and shoe leather will suffice.
